Many of you already know, we are a big camping family. We try to go camping at least every other weekend. Lately, I have been taking my camera for the trip, and doing photo scavenger hunts. I choose 5-10 words, and then late at night I go out and take a photograph of something that I feel symbolizes that word. I might even makeup a photo scavenger hunt workbook too when I get a spare minute!

This past weekend, we were at Lake Herman. Lake Herman is one of my favorite places to go camping. There is a beautiful driving road, lots of hiking trails, two swim beaches, and so much to do. I decided to go out at sunset and photograph just a few of my words!

Want to do your own photo scavenger hunt? Its really simple! Grab a dictionary, randomly open a page, close your eyes, point to a word and then write that word down! Do that as many times as you want. Then devote an hour or two in nature to find what you think closely resembles that word!
