At Creative Lush Boutique, we did this super cute class where we made these adorable America, Home of the Free Because of the Brave decor as well as these Fireworks Decor. If you received a to-go kit, (or if you are just wandering around our website) here is how you make it!

Materials Needed

3×3 cut at 20″

3×3 cut at 18″

3×3 cut at 16″

Red, White and Blue Paint

Snap, Crackle and Pop Vinyl (Order Here)

Paintbrush

Jute Rope

Hot Glue

Step One:

Cut your wood to the dimensions above, sand for smoother painting

Step Two:

Paint your wood (20″ is White, 18″ is Blue, 16″ is red) let dry. After its dry, distress the edges with sandpaper

Step Three

Drill a hole in top, add hot glue in the hole and put the jute rope in it. Mine are about 2-3 inches long

Step Four:

Adhere your vinyl!

TIP:

How to Adhere Vinyl- Pull backing off the vinyl (so it adheres to the clear sheet) and Place it where you would like it to go. When you have your vinyl where you would like it to go, using a credit card smooth down the vinyl, rub it into place. Slowly pull up the clear transfer tape, your vinyl should stick to the wood. If it doesnt, try smoothing it down or holding it in place as you pull the clear sheet up. This is premium outdoor vinyl, however you could go over it with clear matte modge podge just to be sure!
