Ham & Cheese with Peas Bake
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup (4oz) velveeta
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups diced fully cooked ham
- 1 1/2 cups medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tbsp butter
- Stir in flour until smooth
- Add milk, gradually
- Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, making sure you are stirring often as to not burn the bottom
- Do this for about 2 minutes
- remove from heat, stir in cheese and salt until cheese is melted
- Pour mixture, ham, noodles and peas into a greased 1 qt baking dish.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
