Lets face it, with everyone getting completely dumped in snow its hard not to start sharing the Christmas Spirit!  I am one of them. The one who puts up her tree and decor on the 1st of November. The one who is very excited with Hobby Lobby puts their Christmas Up before Halloween. Thats me! *raises hand* But I have a legitimate story behind it. When I was growing up, my grandma used to have everything you could think of when it came to Christmas. The snoring Santas, the Christmas Village (with the working ice skating rink) The rocking reindeer. You name it, my grandma had it. You could rely on a very cozy Christmas at Grandma’s! Finding the pickle on the tree is STILL one of our yearly traditions. When my grandma downsized and moved into a smaller home, I was lucky enough to get most of her Christmas Decor. And because there is so much, and it holds such value to me, I want it up as long as possible!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t skip over thanksgiving- I definatly have some thanksgiving decor up. But you can believe that I deck the halls NOVEMBER 1ST!
