Taco Queso Dip
Football Season is finally here, which means FOOD! Well, for me it means food, for my husband it means, Go Cowboys! :)
We tried this yummy taco queso dip this last weekend and it was AMAZING! I make Queso all the time, but throwing a taco twist in there was absolute YUM! There is quite a bit of a kick to it, adding even more yum! You could make this in a skillet too, as long as you watch the cheese but I love sticking it into the crockpot and letting it smell up my house all day long!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Large Onion, Chopped
- 1 Medium Green Pepper, Chopped
- 1 lb Pepper Jack Cheese, Cubed
- 1 lb Velveeta, Cubed
- 1 Jar Taco Sauce
- 1 Can Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilis, drained
- 1 Small Can (4oz) Mushroom Stems & Pieces, drained, chopped
- 1 Can Sliced Ripe Olives
- Tortilla Chips
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink and the peppers and onions are soft. Combine with rest of ingredients in a crock pot or slow cooker. Cook until cheeses are melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
