Ok people, you want a super easy and scrumptious side dish?! When my hubby knows I’m making this, he asks me to DOUBLE the recipe. Yup its just that good. So here is how it’s done…
Orzo with Parmesan and Basil
Ingredients
- - 2 tablespoons butter
- -1 cup uncooked orzo
- -1 can chicken broth
- -1/4 cup parmesan
- -2 tsp basil
Instructions
- Start by sautéing the orzo in 2 tablespoons of butter until golden brown.
- Stir in the can of chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Let simmer until liquid is reduced down and orzo is cooked, usually about 15-20 minutes.
- Add in parmesan cheese and basil, stir. Then season with salt and pepper and you're done!
