I LOVE “month clubs”

You know the ones, BIRCHBOX, IPSY, really any MONTH clubs I can get my hands on.

And I am not going to lie, I LOVE trying on makeup, but more than that, I LOVE READING! I never even THOUGHT to look up a BOOK OF THE MONTH club, and to be honest at this point I am not even sure how I ended up on it, MUSTA been facebook, everything is facebook!

So, I joined of course and I was MORE THAN HAPPY! Here is the thing, I go to the library, a lot. (especially in the summer) and I rent out books, a lot. Except I always tend to rent out the same kind, the same ones that relate to my genre. (and then I forget to bring them back, just ask Brittany M) One of my New Years Resolutions was to OPEN UP MY MIND, in other words, THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, and that is EXACTLY why I LOVE Book of the Month! I can pick out books that I normally wouldnt, and to be honest, I have been 100% satisfied! For my first month, I picked out LILIAN BOXFISH TAKES A WALK.

I will post a review soon, but I tried to pick out the book that was absolutely different than my norm. And, I did! But because I can literally read a book in 1-2 days, I chose two more!

BUT, because I joined in January I got a bonus book, The Grownups by Gillian Flinn which, by the way I AM SO EXCITED FOR! I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading, and anyone who knows me knows this, but to be able to join a club that sends me a book every month is amazing!

NOT ONLY did I get Gillian Flinns book, but I also got the BOOK OF THE YEAR!!!

WHICH, by the way I wrote a review on! The book of the Year was All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, by Bryn Greenwood.

So, look forward to a TON of reviews as I pick out my novels in the Book of The Month!
